Colville Terrace is an 85 m² residential renovation in Notting Hill, London, defined by warmth, material restraint, and spatial clarity. The project brings together architecture and interior design through a precise palette of dark timber joinery, stainless steel, ceramic surfaces, and soft mineral tones.
Custom carpentry plays a central role throughout the apartment, structuring the space while integrating storage, transitions, and architectural depth into a consistent material language. Arched openings, recessed niches, and indirect lighting introduce softness and rhythm, creating a calm and intimate domestic atmosphere.
Natural light enhances the tactile quality of the materials throughout the day, while darker spaces such as the bathroom create a more enclosed and atmospheric mood. Completed in 2024, the project feels cohesive, grounded, and quietly refined.
