Helados Meñique is a compact ice cream shop conceived as a bright, tactile micro-architecture within 45 square meters. The design explores the expressive potential of ceramic tile as both surface and spatial organizer, creating a clean yet playful atmosphere rooted in material clarity.
A key element of the concept is a custom mural designed especially for children, introducing narrative, color, and imagination into the space. Framed by a soft architectural arch, the mural becomes a visual focal point that transforms the act of choosing ice cream into a small, joyful experience.
Extending the playful spirit beyond the interior, the project includes a small courtyard where children are encouraged to draw directly on the walls. This interactive gesture turns the space into a living canvas — constantly evolving and shaped by its youngest visitors — reinforcing the brand’s community-oriented and family-friendly identity.
Despite its limited footprint, the project maximizes spatial perception through clear geometries, integrated lighting, and a restrained material palette. Helados Meniqué becomes more than a retail space — it is a small, immersive environment where materiality, color, participation, and form come together to create a memorable sensory experience.
